‘Don’t give yourselves to brutes. You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don’t hate. Only the unloved hate, the unloved and the unnatural’ C.C.~
Many years ago, Nick Jago appeared in this PSA to vote:
BRMC’s social media channels have picked up on this for the latest election:
One of the most important things you can do right now is VOTE. 23 states have elections this month. You have the power to create lasting change. Verify your voter registration, get vote-by-mail info, know your ballot: headcount.org
Verify your voter registration, get vote-by-mail info, know your ballot: headcount.org
Why this counts: boomers and older generations made up 43% of eligible voters in 2016, but cast 49% of ballots. The young electorate is growing. Are you ready to use your voice? Get ready to vote with HeadCount. Register to vote, check your status, and get your mail-in ballot at headcount.org
Fremmand from Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, who previously worked with Peter Hayes (BRMC) playing guitar and co-produced the song “Holding on to Love” and supported BRMC on tour in Germany June 2018, has recently released a new song featuring Peter Hayes:
GuitarWorld reported that Gibson has launched Gibson TV, an online television network dedicated to guitars and music culture:
Hosted on YouTube and featuring all-new series Gibson promises that it will break out of the gear demo, interview and behind-the-scenes content trifecta to offer guitarists something new.
Those looking for something performance-based should check out The Songbook, which features stripped-down acoustic sets.
Upon Gibson TV’s launch, The Songbook has performances from Samantha Fish, Peter Hayes of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Patrick Park (and his dog).
Peter Hayes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club first picked up the guitar at the age of 14 when he began trying to figure out how to play his mother’s classical guitar. As he continued to play, his mother showed him flamenco and finger picking styles that had a strong influence on his playing and technique.
Peter would eventually go on to play with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and eventually form Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with Robert Levon Been in 1998.
In this episode of The Songbook, Peter stopped by to perform the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club song “Shuffle Your Feet.”
Robert Been was on Jonesy’s Jukebox on 95.5 FM in LA this morning, talking about touring and jamming with Steve Jones! Video from KLOS’s Facebook page:

BRMC’s playlist of songs handpicked for you found on Sound of Aarhus:
The trio will conquer Train in Aarhus on November 8 with support from our very own Tales Of Murder And Dust as support. Originally, hailing from San Francisco, but since 2008 with Leah Shapiro – born and bred in Aarhus – managing the drumsticks. Prior to this show, the band decided to create a 38-track playlist for you to get in just the right mood:
“We’re headed to Europe this fall. Here’s a playlist of songs we hand-picked for you to listen to as we get ready for the tour.” – BRMC
