I started this BRMC fansite in 2002, when I first realized how good the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are to see live. (I was not a huge concert goer before them.) It was originally a .Mac site, which stayed that way for 5 years before I moved to a different web host. The next version of the site was built 2007 when the 3rd album Baby 81 was released. The iWeb version of this site came next with “Beat The Devil’s Tattoo” and is still available here.
The previous WordPress incarnation of the site began in September 2011 as a test. I’m currently using the free version of a premium theme called Magazine Pro, in the Teal Dark skin by ThemeAlley.com, which I like because it reminds me of the HOWL album. A lot has happened with BRMC and this is my attempt to keep up with it, while informing new and old fans of the past, present, and future of BRMC. It’s been a long and interesting journey with this band, so I am excited to see what else will happen with them.
Since the end of 2005 (when HOWL came out), I’ve traveled to many BRMC shows and discovered many great new bands and met many fans who I feel are my closest friends. In that time, I have taken more photos that I can count and hours of videos. Of course, it is impossible to share all the stories and experiences I have of following this band, I will do my best to explain what makes this band (and their fans) special.
