BRMC & The Black Ryder DJ set in Denver

Twist & Shout Records and PBR present:

The LIPGLOSS 13th Anniversary | Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (DJ Set) X The Black Ryder (DJ Set) feat. Leah Shapiro & Scott Von Ryper | Hollow & DJ Tower

Pre-sale is highly recommended for this event and is available at www.denver3.com.

Established in 2001, Lipgloss is the country’s longest-running indie dance party, featuring only the finest in indie, rock, soul & retro.

To celebrate our 13th anniversary, we’re excited to bring you a first: Leah Shapiro of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (Official Page) & tour-drummer for The Raveonettes and Scott Von Ryper of Autralia’s psych-rock The Black Ryder will commandeer the Lipgloss DJ booth for a joint DJ set!

This kind of pairing doesn’t happen at just any dance party. In fact, this particular one has never happened before. So come be a part of history as two of our favorite rockstars take over your Lipgloss dance experience. It’s going to be a gritty, rock-infused dance party.

Lipgloss founder Hollow aka boyhollow & resident DJ Tower will also attend the DJ booth to round out all your dancing needs.

Rebuild Cobb Studio & Nicgorski home.

“Our long time friends in The Cobbs need a little help and support. Last month their home studio in Philly was destroyed by fire and water damage.
This home served as a shelter from the storm for many bands over the years, including ourselves, recording much of the ‘Howl’ & ‘Beat The Devils Tattoo’ album in their tiny basement studio. The Nicgorski’s took us in, gave us a place to hide out and record, and never asked for anything in return (except for us to take their daughters
Please help in anyway you can, thank you-
-BRMC”

Visit Billy Nicgorski’s GoFundMe campaign and help add to the fundraiser and to receive updates on the studio. Here is a little more about what happened:

“On Tuesday April 29th in the middle of the night we had a catastrophe at the studio. On the second floor of the house we had a major water overflow that spread down into the basement studio causing an electrical fire and massive water damage. It was a complete loss. We are covered by insurance but as you would expect it is only covering a small portion of the damage.

We really need your help to bring back the studio and to rebuild our lives. If you know me you know it’s really hard for me to ask for help. A friend suggested that I put this together.

Thanks for all of your support. It means everything to me to get the studio back and to fix my home.

Thanks
Billy -Paul -Maria Nicgorski Ryan Bernstein”
